If you’ve ever told yourself, “I’ll focus on losing weight when things calm down,” I want you to know I hear you. And I get it.
You’re not lazy. You’re not unmotivated. You’re just juggling a lot.
Maybe work is intense. Your kids need you. Your partner needs you. You’ve got family obligations, errands, appointments, and everything else that comes with being the person everyone counts on. So, you keep telling yourself you’ll start once the storm passes.
But here's what I’ve seen over and over again after coaching women for more than 20 years: life never really calms down. There’s always something. A new project. A surprise event. A week that completely derails your good intentions.
And when you keep waiting for things to slow down before you take care of yourself, you can go years without actually moving forward.
That’s why I created Coach G’s Weight Loss Chronicles; a series of short, honest videos based on the real things I hear women say in in consultations every week. The series is meant to help you see the hidden patterns that are keeping you stuck, even though you want change more than anything.
In Episode 3, I talk about one of the most common roadblocks I’ve seen in women who want to lose weight but can’t seem to get started. It’s called: “I Just Don’t Have Time Right Now.”
And it’s not just about time. It’s about identity.
It’s about the version of you that’s still living in survival mode. The one who only feels okay giving to others, but not to yourself. The one who believes that taking care of your health has to wait until everything else is handled.
That’s what I explore in Episode 3. And it’s not a lecture. It’s a quick, relatable peek into what happens when we keep pushing our own well-being to the bottom of the list.
If any of this sounds like you, I invite you to watch it.
And if what I share in the episode speaks to your current struggle, DM me the word “Success” and I’ll offer you a free 1:1 breakthrough session. It’s a safe, judgment-free space where we can talk about what’s been holding you back and how to finally move forward.
You need a way to take care of yourself that fits inside your real life.
