I Want to Be Healthy... But I’m Just Too Tired

If you’ve ever had the thought, “I want to take care of myself, but I’m just too tired,” then Episode 7 of Coach G’s Weight Loss Chronicles is for you.


As a weight loss coach for over 20 years, I’ve heard this from women more times than I can count. They tell me they have good intentions. They want to eat better. They want to get their steps in. They even make plans for how the week will go.


But by the time the workday ends, the house is settled, and everyone else is taken care of, they’re wiped out. Not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

There’s nothing left in the tank. So, the workout doesn’t happen. The healthy dinner gets skipped. The scroll and snack cycle takes over. And the guilt sets in.


But here’s what I want you to hear:

➡️It’s not laziness.

➡️It’s not a lack of willpower.


It’s exhaustion. The kind that comes from constantly showing up for everyone except yourself. The kind that builds over weeks, months, even years of putting yourself last.

Because if you keep showing up like your health is optional, it will keep falling to the bottom of your list. Real change starts when you decide that your energy is worth protecting; not just for everyone else, but for you too.
